SYFY: Where Fandom Thrives

My time at SYFY was like stepping into a neon-lit carnival of geekdom, where every day felt like a celebration of the weird, wild, and wonderful. I helped craft SYFY’s authentic social voice—a voice that didn’t just talk to fans but spoke with them, tapping into the deep, passionate current of fan culture.

On social, we built something bigger than a brand: we built a community. Through geek-themed content that resonated with the sci-fi-loving, fantasy-devouring, horror-adoring crowd, we grew a massive audience across channels. It wasn’t just about posting; it was about creating a digital home for fandom, where love for pop culture ran as deep as the Mariana Trench.

We didn’t just stop at screens. We hit the road, attending fan experiences and conventions, capturing the pulse of fandom live and in real time. The energy, the costumes, the unbridled passion—it was a thrill to help SYFY be part of it, and my own love for all things nerdy came alive in every moment.

SYFY wasn’t just work for me; it was a love letter to the worlds and stories that shaped me, a place where creativity and fandom collided in the best possible way.

Reptile Awareness Day IG Story

A large part of my job at SYFY was mapping out content on a month to month basis. We decided to create an interactive IG Story that humorously tacked Reptile Awareness Day. Enjoy!
